On June 12 we kicked off summer with a SharePoint seminar followed by our traditional summer party. On the menu was easy SharePoint talks, lounging on the terrace and – of course – lovely BBQ food.

The seminar was a great success. We had 40 seats and 50 attendees, so the presentation hall and surrounding rooms were packed with people. Microsoft Norway’s Director of Office, Anna Olsson, set the ball rolling with her thrilling keynote on the new social project by Microsoft, «Codename: Oslo».
Five of our esteemed puzzlers had wonderful presentations ranging in topics from Kim’s talk on responsive design through Ahmad’s Power BI for Office 365 and Tarjei’s suggestions on how to enhance Enterprise wiki content
[slideshare]. Thorbjørn set things in perspective with his talk on how things used to be [slideshare], and Ole Kristian got us back on the ground with some thoughts on where he thinks SharePoint is heading [slideshare].

After the seminar, we all retired to the terrace to party. Two superb chefs fired up the BBQs with burgers, sausages, pork fillets and mussels. Our DJ entertained us into the small hours, while everyone socialized and had fun.

You will find lots of photos from the event on Puzzlepart’s Facebook page.
