Puzzlepart’s Mikael Svenson has once again shown his dedication to the SharePoint community. He spent the better part of Christmas finishing his most recent book; SharePoint Search Queries Explained: A guide to writing search queries in SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online.

Mikael writes a lot of search queries and search query rewrites via query rules in SharePoint 2013 both in customer projects and for presentations. This has been published as a series of blog posts, and is now also available as a book!

Topics range from KQL basics to query variables and contextual query rules, and would be a valued reference for anyone involved in SharePoint development.

Mikael is a search enthusiast at heart, having previously authored Working with Microsoft FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint.

As a SharePoint MVP (Most Valuable Professional), Mikael is a community contributor blogging about SharePoint, often on the topic of search. He is on the board of the Norwegian SharePoint Community and part of the organizing committee of Arctic SharePoint Challenge.
